Founder, President, Director of Logistics
Within Alesana’s heart burns a passion to see a world where all LGBTQIA people can live free and happy lives. She is an egalitarian who holds the value of all life in the highest regards. She eagerly stands to defend all marginalized peoples across not only the country, but the globe. Alesana’s unwavering dedication and commitment to this cause reflects the strength that lies in each member of the LGBTQIA community.
As Founder and President, Alesana coordinates all board efforts to ensure that we are committing our best resources to their best locations. This ties into her role as Director of Logistics, where Alesana runs a dedicated team with the goal of making our organization function as smoothly as possible. On top of these roles, she serves as our lead recruiter, utilizing charisma and shared interests to forge bonds with our members, as well as other organizations we seek partnerships with.

Treasurer, CFO, Legal Counsel
Alexis is working with TCF to ensure that its legal affairs, finances, and compliance matters are competently handled and to lead fundraising strategy. Social justice and human rights are their biggest passions and they are excited to rapidly spread TCF’s services and vision nationwide with this incredible team of people. 
Alexis is a San Francisco-based attorney and activist and a 20-year veteran of several nationwide and local nonprofit organizations, serving as a board member, legal advisor, and employee. Alexis is the founder and attorney-in-charge at Identity Affirmation Workshop, a nonprofit providing direct pro bono legal services to Californians changing their names and gender markers. Alexis has served as the appointed Vice President of the San Francisco Board of Appeals, a county commission that hears a wide variety of permit appeals. Alexis is also the immediate Past President of the Castro/Eureka Valley Neighborhood Association. Outside of extensive volunteerism, Alexis is an avid hiker (usually with their pet “moose,” Pumpkin), live music enthusiast, former Jeopardy! contestant, and lover of history and architecture. 

Co-Founder, Secretary, Director of IT
Vincent is a driven and passionate tech professional currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity. With a strong foundation in technology and a commitment to social justice, he brings a unique blend of skills and dedication to the organization. His expertise spans IT infrastructure, data security, and digital systems management, ensuring that the organization’s online presence and tools are both efficient and secure. Vincent has a deep understanding of how technology can amplify the voices of marginalized communities and is dedicated to using his skills to support the mission of the organization.
A technology enthusiast with a passion for activism, Vincent thrives on solving complex challenges in both the tech and social justice spheres. Outside of work, he enjoys emulating video games and programming, using these hobbies to further hone his technical skills. Driven by a belief that everyone deserves a safe space and equal rights, Vincent works tirelessly to ensure TCF’s digital presence helps reach, engage, and support the LGBTQIA community.

Director of Research
Auri is a passionate advocate for human rights, borne out of her experience working alongside and within the disability community. As a Korean-born, neurodivergent trans woman coming from a biracial family, Auri believes searching for solutions to consequential issues requires a deep commitment to respect, understanding, and self-reflection.
Working alongside the Research Team, the Research Advisor provides information relevant to TCF’s goal of helping endangered people. This information is derived from mixed-methods research, trainings, and outreach to other educational organizations and stakeholders. The Advisor serves on the board and makes recommendations derived from analysis to TCF’s department heads.

Director of Public Relations
Meet Randi Azzara, the Head of Public Relations at TCF. Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership with a minor in English, Randi focuses on nonprofit organizations and social justice while also working towards a certificate in grant writing. They have extensive leadership experience, having established and managed several community groups encouraging collaboration among diverse individuals.
As the Head of Public Relations, Randi is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that promote the organization’s mission and initiatives. They are deeply committed to ensuring every voice is heard and are passionate about creating and sustaining living situations for those in need while nurturing environments where everyone can thrive. Through their work at TCF, Randi aims to amplify voices and encourage meaningful dialogue around critical social issues, believing in the power of unity for a more equitable future.

Director of Compliance
Emily brings extensive lived experience to her role in TCF. Having spent two years homeless, most of it living on the streets and traveling through multiple states, Emily developed a deep commitment to addressing homelessness and supporting all vulnerable and marginalized communities. As a transgender woman, she is also passionate about trans issues and advocacy. Emily is an outspoken supporter of mutual aid, community building, and creating empowering alternatives to meet people’s needs in ways that support their autonomy.
At TCF, Emily serves as the head of the moderation team for the organization’s online discussion groups. She lends her skills in information organization, troubleshooting, and generating ideas to the organization’s efforts.
Outside of her advocacy, Emily is a passionate writer and an aspiring author. She enjoys cooking, exploring philosophy—especially ethics and epistemology—and has a weakness for animals of all kinds. She enjoys reading, video games, manga, and anime in her leisure time.
